WLOY, the non-profit student radio station at Loyola College in Maryland, provides students and off-campus listeners with music from diverse genres 24/7. The station is run by a little over ten station board members (students) with additional volunteer disc-jockeys airing their personal shows. The station also airs live faculty-hosted shows, presents/sponsors live concerts featuring popular artists, and also provides the music for numerous on-campus events.

 

As an established presence at Loyola College as well as in the surrounding Baltimore area, WLOY is looking to use its influence to reach out and give back to the community. Our most recent event was the auction of a signed guitar to benefit Middle Grades Partnership. This program helps to provide local Baltimore children with educational experience in places such as science labs that they may not have received in the classroom. Your support WILL help us to continue to give back to Baltimore.
